Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) includes chronic inflammatory intestinal disorders such as ulcerative colitis and Crohn’s disease, characterized by mucosal injury, immune activation, diarrhea, weight loss, and impaired intestinal function.
IPS Therapeutique offers preclinical IBD and colitis models in rats to evaluate anti-inflammatory, immunomodulatory, epithelial-protective, and disease-modifying therapies.
These models support assessment of clinical signs, macroscopic colon injury, inflammatory biomarkers, cytokine responses, and histological evidence of mucosal inflammation and tissue damage.
