Allergic Asthma

  • Allergic asthma is a chronic inflammatory disorder of the airways caused by an exaggerated immune reaction to specific allergens such as pollen, dust mites, or animal dander. It is characterized by activation of mast cells, leading to eosinophilic inflammation, mucus overproduction, and bronchoconstriction.
